Z represents any sound that can become syllabic later,
X any near-velar fricative, N any nasal, M or _ is a
(unattached) mora.

Syllables followed sonoricity except extrasyllabic s
(and X word final).

Syllable boundaries will not be shown unless needed.
Syllable breaks shown by $ or -

There were three tones, high ', low `, and mid
(unmarked in their minds and my orthography).

At least one marked tone per word (some affixes lack
one).

Most nouns had a high tone, most verbs a low (but high
in perfect).

Final unmarked -a(C) disappeared earlier if leaving
acceptable C-cluster.

Num S D

Nom s a (a)f
Voc 0 a (a)f
Acc (a)mv a f(a)mv
Gen (a)'s a'us? a'm
Rest 0 a'u? (a)f

For inanimate non/acc -0

(a) means an -a- was inserted to prevent bad
C-clusters.

-mv probably spread to some inanimates by analogy

a'-stems had -d not -mv and -i not -f, but analogy
changed them.

-mv>-xv/N_$
