It seems Lithuanian (ablauting!) <tvérti> 'enclose (with fence); band(age)',
<tvorà> 'fence', <turé:ti> 'have' (<'grip') are borrowed from the same
mysteriuos language as well... Or Kortlandt is wrong about that particular
word.
