Someone needs to invest in a Tag. dictionary. Tag. abra (and likely the
river name) is a transparent loan from Span. abra 'id.'.

Native Tag. words have [r] only as the intervocalic allophone of /d/. All
other r's are of Spanish/Engl. or other origin, esp. in clusters like -br-
