There's been no discussion of the development of (uvular?) *kw- and
*gw-. Is it deferred or is there a problem? For example, there may
be too few examples - in Pokorny, I could only find *kwehp ~ *keuhp
(Root #957) 'to smoke, boil, cook', which yields Albanian _kapitem_,
glossed as 'atme schwer', and gjeth(e) 'leaf, twig' < *gwes (Root
#725) 'branches, leaves'. We've also uncovered the extra, but
challenged example, of *gwistis > _gisht_ (
