Or "Resa(s)", the name of the king, actually meaning `king`, from
the obvious PIE root "reg^-" (Pokorny 1589), cognate with a bunch
of other well-known `king` words in IE.

You should have taken my words as a funny way to suggest to read
and understand _much_ more before stating emphatically allegations
for which you still have not the required competence. As hinted by
Piotr, there is a certain amount of information which you cannot
or want not to understand, information which is relevant for the
linguists. You may freely choose:
1. to say they're all wrong in their own field of expertise while
your reasoning is the only one valid;
2. to make an intellectual effort to understand their reasons and
the compulsory background.
If your choice will be constantly 1, you will be only a source of
counterproductive messages with no other aim than your own happiness
to see'em all on yahoogroups. The wise choice would be 2: of course,
that would require a lot of _real_ work and some advices for putting
you on the right track would certainly be needed at critical points.

I have no frustration, just a sorry feeling for your tenacious
will of choosing #1.
