very good point Marc. Ancient Egyptian wall paintings also show that
some of the Syrians and Libyans, and even some Egyptians with fair
hair and skin and blue eyes. In Egypt red hair was associated with
Set, and several Pharoahs had red hair. I'm not sure if this
necessarily meant they were fair-skinned and "nordic' looking, as red
hair is a gene mutation, and one can still be dark skinned and fair-
haired, as the case with Australian Aborigines. I've heard that the
Spartans were described as blond (originally).

However, I don't know why you say David was blond, the Bible says he
was "ruddy", basically in Hebrew would be a dark tan, and some
translations have tan here instead of ruddy. I'm assuming Aharon is
Aaron, and the Bible also says nothing about him being red haired.
Or are you referring to someone else?

All humans came from the same gene pool, there are no
seperate "races."
