There ain't no fixation with metals. Metals get cast. Have I ever
insisted that all juices are metals?
There is a word called bharatiyo in Gujarati. It means 'caster of
metals'. I leave it to experts to unravel further if this lexeme is
anyway connected with the use of the word 'bharata' in R.gveda.
I don't think it is necessary for me to list all ancient
metallurgical works which have titles such as Rasaratnasamuccaya,
Rasaratna_kara and on and on. If there is a fixation pinning down
rasa in the context of alchemy and later metallurgy/chemistry, it is
in the literature mostly in Samskr.tam and other languages of Bharat.
