That's definitely not true of a large number of them (câne, sânge, tot, un,
frunzã, ou, coadã, dinte, limbã, genunchi, bea, s,ti, înota, zbura, zãcea,
zice, ...), which can only be Latin. Especially in combination with each
other!

A form like <tu>, in isolation, may look like it can come from almost any
PIE-derived language. But <tu> does not exist in isolation. It has beside
it a 1st person pronoun <eu> and a 3rd. person <el>, and a possessive
<tãu>, etc. It cannot possibly be anything but Latin.
