I think Alex has arranged his words carefully here. Looking at the
his annotations in
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/cybalist/message/28166 , a lot of the
words he has marked could have come from many different IE
languages - there's nothing that marks them as Latin rather than,
say, pre-Grimm Germanic (accepting the traditional model for now).
Of course, the many unmarked ones would demonstrate an incredibly
massive number of loans from Latin! The language would have been
virtually relexified!
