Pokorny predates Hamp's discovery.

It can't be from *gWenja:. At the very least, that should be *gWe:nja:.

Hamp's proposal still trumps that. Deriving <zonjë> from *gWe:n- does not
explain <zot>. The very alternation masc. t ~ fem. n in this pair of words
cries out *pot(n)-.
