Bovine excrement. Of course they have undergone all the Romanian changes
(vowel diphthongisations, the rhotacism of *l > r, etc.) and have not
been exempt from any of them. They look archaic when compared with their
Albanian cognates only in the sense that they have not undergone the
more recent ALBANIAN changes. I hope you are able to understand why.
