not sure. The word under the forms "cele" & "celere" is attested long
time before any caballus.

Hmm.. . See Rom. "lãbuS" and rom. "labã" for Latin "lepus". It seemps
pretty an interesting word.

Actually the Latin word is a loan from Greek. But do we not expect here
an "ph" for the Greek word?

Explained as a loan from Greek ( Rom. "proaspãt")

Hmmm.. does is ? Both languages Rom & Alb prefixed the Latin word? I
doubt. The rom. "Shiroi" is derivative of "Sir"=row.
