Subject: [tied] Some Albanian-Romanian concordances

scrumiera – shkrum `ashtray' <*s-kruH-m `raw flash'
šti –di `to know' < *dei- `to know'
aþîþa-nzis < n-zis `to incite' < *n-gWeit-yo- `to live'
ieši-jash-të < *eg^hs- 'out'
gata – gati `to finish' (cf. sl. gotov 'id.')
geme –gjamë/gjëm `groan' < *sem- `as one' – to cry as one man

Any suggestions?

"scrum" = unknown etymology. Languages to find in: Alb., Rom & Bulg.
"Sti" = given as from Latin < scire
aTâTa = to incite, given as from Latin *attitiare ( < titio)
ieSi = given as from Latin exire ( was the conj. of the pers 1sgf of
exire "exo"?)
gata = unknown etymology: Languages to find in: Alb. & Rom. cf Slv.
"gotovo"
geme = given as from Lat. gemere

To be honest, it seems unlike to me that the /g/ from "geme" is comming
from "*sem" . I fail to see how s > g. It seems we know the procedure
otherways like g > d > s in the satem space but that's should be all,
or?
The form "Sti" can derive from an "*dei-" with the condition the verb
was prefixed with "s"; since "sd" is a phonetical interdiction in Rom,
then we have indeed sd > st
The "aTâTâ" seems very unlikely to derive from *n-gWeit-yo-. It seems
here that the Alb. counterpart should be "încinge" with participal form
"incins" with can be used as "incite" too. The word is explained trough
Latin "incendere"
