I pronounce four syllables: [Ak.'va.ri.um] (or [A.'kva.ri.um]) ([A] for
IPA's "inverted a"), with some kind of glide between [i] and [u]. An
allegro form (as I've just decided from introspection) seems to be
[A.'kva.riUm] (sic!), but not [A.'kva.rjum] -- at least a phonetic
contrast with ['tvarju m&jIj] 'my creater (Instr.sg.)' is very clear.
