Nothing you say is relevant to my objection: what difference in stress is
there between the a:-stem Nsg. and the o-stem NAdu. I don't see it.
Take a Sanskrit paradigm like:
m. f n
sg. priyás priyá: priyám
pl. priyá:s priyá:s priyá:(n.i)
du. priyá:(u) priyá:(u) priyé:
Columnar stress. These are thematic forms.
