Being myself a person of Irish-Swedish decent who is constantly
mistaken for Italian, Greek or Persian, I can attest to the
fact that we REALLY CAN'T TELL! I'm tired of people
like you using stereotypical criteria to guess my nationality.
I have a friend who is part Croatian and part Cree. His
name sounds Japanese and people think he's part Asian
because of his exotic looks -- and they're just as wrong
as they are about me. Another friend of mine looks
'mulatto' with his dark skin and curly hair but in actuality
has some Chinese ancestry -- again, nobody is the wiser.
But I guess us Canadians are more diverse than normal.
And that's what makes us interesting :P
