And what about the second palatalisation here? Soutsh Slavic "vlasi"
should have been loaned as "walasen" eventualy "walazen" (I think about
walizisch) but not as "walachen". The Terman word "wallach"= horse is
explained due the import in Germany of this specialy kind of horse from
Romania in the Middle Age.
