You didn't read my explanation, posted earlier?

*consobrínu- --> *kusV(v)rín- > kushërin-. Tosk Albanian lost the nasal
in auslaut (<kushëri>), rhotacised it in intervocalic positions, eg. in
def. <kushëriri> or feminine <kushërirë> (< kushërinë <-- *consobrína),
and palatalised it in the plural (<kushërinj>). All these changes are
regular.
