I have the feeling you don't want to let the thread close:-)))

"condizionata evidentemente nello stadio /pl'/ dalla natura palatale
della /l'/" which is in fact an another phoenomenon as the one I related
about in Dacoromanian. But I am sure you will think of a explanation
trough "natura palatale della /i/".
Nevertheless , since the topic is "cutulare" how is explained the
Italian "cutulare" ? I assume trough the same *excutulare as for Rom.
In fact it does not matter the word *excutulare, but the root which
should given this root and to plagiate Piotr, the "suffix". At least in
Rom. I have " a mãtura" , to sweep which shows maybe a similar
componence. For the *excutulare, the root cannot be Latin "quatio:" , I
am too wrong? If not, then which is the root?
