all. What IS unusual, though, at least to my eyes, is
the utilization of this expression as the STANDARD
word for "GOD". The fact that in pagan Roman times
Jupiter was referred to as "Dominus Deus" is well
known. And there are many liturgical texts in
Christian literature where God is called "Dominus
Deus". There are similar expressions in the Hebrew
texts. But that's not the point of my query.*****
