I think this is not the tone. I am sure you don't need to be told you
may be ignorant of things I am not ignorant of. Whether it is in
the area of linguistics or somewhere else. It is pointless to
measure muscles.
I can also try picking on you, looking for something nasty to say
about Ukraine (history is full of convenient facts to pick up) and
throw it in your face. I could, if this were my usual way of
approaching people from other backgrounds. This way would
lead you to hitting back, which would lead me to hitting back and
lead you to...
I don't think hitting each other is the point of our being together.
Maybe I am less ignorant of that.
As to my Iranian biases, the reason for putting them on the list is
my own desire to test those biases against anything you or
others can say. If I did not want it in the first place, I would have
kept them to myself.
I think you have assumed too much not only about my ignorance,
but also about my personality. Since I do not want to do the
same regarding yourself, I stop here.
