It is. <Vikla> (Venetian <Veglia>) was the name of Udina's home place -- the
island of Krk. It corresponds to It. vecchia < vecla- < vet(u)la. The
adjectival suffix <-isun> is, according to Witold Manczak, a combination
of -e:ns- and -a:num.
