Which "semantism"? <trup> meaning 'body, corpus'? You can find that even in
Old Church Slavic. In Serbian, <trup> means 'trunk' (in the anatomical
sense), and that's close enough to 'body'.

If I had to, I'd feel free to argue like that. There were some early Slavic
dialects that died out, you know. Not necessarily "South Slavic" in the
linguistic sense of tne term, even if geographically southern.
