Why should they say? Is there a *gw in the root for wine?

the "zi" instead of "vi" as particularity is just for Maramuresh, the
other "belts" use "g'i" instead of " vi" .And how you observed too, not
in every word, but there where we have by default in "g" in the PIE
radicals.
