"Barda" is most probably a common loanword from Hungarian (also in Romanian)

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Barda is given as word of germanic origin by Cioranescu in his etymological
dictionary of the romanian language [old german: barta, german Bart; old
french barde; cf with alabarda] which coincide, in part, with an oriental
word: cuman balta; turk baltak, cf baltag.
His hungarian origin is not 100% certain; Edelspacher even think that it was
imported in Hungarian from Romanian language.
In rutenian [barda] is a loanword from romanian [Miklosich].
Gamillscheg think that this word in romanian language is coming directly
from the longobard language [barda].
