In case you're missing your moderator

Dear All,

One fine morning in May, my PC's hard disk drive crashed. The disaster
struck without warning ("Who would have thought it could happen to
me?"), and as usual in such cases I wish I'd been a little less
lighthearted about storing backups of important stuff. It will take me
a few days to resuscitate my computer, and still more time to replace
the lost data, reconstruct the vital logins and passwords, reconfigure
my email browser, etc. I'll do my best to appear on the list from time
to time, but I'll be keeping a low profile until things return to normal.
