"cot" has two plurals. The one is specialized
on "ell" (measurement), the other on "elbow".

Similar situations you have in "scoala" ->
(a) "scoale", (b) "scoli"; "roata" -> (a) "roate",
(b) "rotzi"

Nothing special or weird here (of course,
from the *Romanian* viewpoint).
