There must also be a UK edition published by Faber and Faber, as there is a nasty note on the title page about this edition not being for sale in the British Commonwealth.
If you get into the Bog People, there is:

I always envy Dan having everything he needs on his bookshelves - this time I have them. Unfortunately, Dan also seems to read Latin with ease, and I haven't been able to do that for about 44 years.
