Borrowed into Slavic as *pergyni < *pergu:ni: 'gorge, cliff' (mostly in toponyms; there are several Przeginia's in Poland). The borrowing is obviously from post-Verner Germanic (the initial *p- is the regular Slavic substitute for /f/) but looks very archaic, closer to the Gothic form than to anything else.
