Now and then I'll read descriptions of Hittites (and Hurrians?) as
"mongoloid", and with "high-cheek bones and short stature." Is this
somewhat what you are referring to? The Hittites (and Hurrians?) do seem
to be of a different racial type than both "caucasians" (for lack of a
better term), and mesopotamians.
