I perfectly agree. It seems to me imposible a such metathesis in after
Thracian time, so it must be a slavic loan.
It seems that the family of "zagaz" is the one which will derive from
*deigh if not here we have again an loan as DEX means from bulg/src
"zagata", "zaga-titi" ( i don't know their meaning)

zãgaz=sn dam, weir;
zãgãzuí = to dam up;
The contruction is the same as in 'rãgaz'= rest; leisure; respite, this
one being with an unknown etymology.
