Buck derives Gk. 'teikhos' "wall",
ChSl. 'zidati' "build", 'zidu' "wall", OPruss. 'seydis' "wall" from
IE *deigh- "form, build". Watkins adds Avestan 'daeza' "wall" (>
the latter half of 'paradise')
