Yes, I heard about. My grand mother told me ( she was too a fan of
Abba):-))

It doesn't look to be acceptable. the neolithic population was
widespread, not just in some small areas. Their traces , from Ukraine
until Spain and Germany speaks for theirself. A nomadic population will
dissaper in the big mass. Any linguistic traces of the huns? And they
have be milions of people too. Being nomads they could not give a
language to someone which are not nomads ( see the bilinguism of
migrating people.)
Or maybe you like this scenario: we are here, some nomadic people comes
for 3-4 monthes, we learn 2-3 words from our trade with them, next year
the nomads come again, we learn 3-4 word more and so on, in 1000 years
we are all becoming IE speakers:)
