I'm just logically deducing that there must have been some
Semitic person in Troy at some point in its history. Obviously!
It was a port city. Port cities make people multi-ethnic :)
Whether it be through war or trade (both were plenty in Troy),
various cultures, languages and religions would without a shadow
of a doubt have convened and interacted there. Languages like
Babylonian and Assyrian were important Semitic languages at one
time and, given their prominence, surely Troy had a Semitic
population living there once.
That's all I'm saying. The evidence I offer isn't per se
archaeological so much as damn-near irrefutable logic.
