No. Exactly the same thing is true of Venus in the morning
sky. Why is the statement incomplete? Probably because
this is a site for kids under the age of 14.

Nonsense. In all positions we see Venus because it reflects
the sun's light, exactly as in the case of the moon.

I am using extremely elementary astronomy. It has a very
simple geometical (and hence mathematical) component.
