for Latin "lucifer" is a derivative of "luceo"= to become bright.
In Rom. Lang the word "Lucifer" as simbol of bad is a neologism is
something pretty very new.
The word "Luceafãr" means just "morning star" or "evening star".
DEX gives it as coming from Latin "Lucifer"
