I tried to find it in Perseus before asking. The results I have:
Hippo-molgia , Hippo-molgos , ff.ll. for hippê-.
there are no more explanation.
I tried with "molgon" and it appeared to be nothing there.

I tried to look up with this query : Hippêmolgôn. Result=0
Mr. Iacomi, I am indeed not sure what to say. If this "molg-" should
have been a Greek derivative it should be found not in only this
compound word as "hippemolgi", but in others too.
