Ene is not a modern name in Romanian. It became pretty obsolet. I am not
sure if someone gives today to his child the name "Ene" anymore. The
family name "Ene" will exist longer but "Ene" as men's name it is almost
dead. I knew several old people who have had the name "Ene" but in our
region is not more used for boys. Maybe are other regions where this is
not obsolete, but I am not aware of this.
