Alas, poor Alex! The question is: who tampered with his records? I
smell a conspiracy.
Talking of which, Hamlet's father's name was Ørvendel in the original
Saxo version of the story (the one without the wuzzy duelling ending
Shakespeare slapped on).
The Danish noble line of Gyldenstjerne has died out, the Rosencrantz
one still exists.
