Reflexes of *dek- are also attested, e.g. in *lugu-dek- 'worshipper of Lug' (Ogam Lugudec-, gen. Lugudeccas, OIr. Lugaid, gen. Luigdech), *luku-dek- (probably) > Gaul. Lucudeca. I'm not sure where <dago-/daco-> comes from -- _if_ it's the same root (a secondary reduced grade?). If Chris Gwinn is reading this, it would be interesting to have his opinion -- he knows a lot more about Gaulish (and Celtic in general) than I do.
