I'm sure the word is attested, I even vaguely recall to have heard it
once or two from my grandma (she referred to the 'hearth-stone' at
the _bottom_ of a stove). I just quoted a generalizing Proto-Slavic
etymon, hence an asterisk. According to your dictionary, in what
language is it attested with the specific meaning 'bridge', by the
way? Serbo-Croatian?
