so to say, in one "frãt,ie" :-))

Italian has "fratello" and I am cautios with lossing of final "r".
The word "magar" which is to find in romanian, albanian and bulgarian
has still the final "r"
The word "mãrar" is in albanian too , "balaur" has the final "r" too
There are several examples.
Can it be that there is no specially reason for loosing the final "r"?
