1)I give the meaning for "schwanz", cf my dcitionary as fallow:
schwanz:1)bisht; 2) kar, lloz, palle:"es war kein Schwanz da"= "nuk
kishte ke:mbe: keci","jemand auf dem Schwanz treten="ja merr erzin".

2) I take the reverse now and I take a look at the albanian "palle:2
what is like translated in german:
palle:= 1) Schwert, Degen.
So, you are right when you say that means Sword too.

but in rom. is too a palosh= sword which is supposed to come from
ungarian "pallos" where i dont know what in ungarian pallos meant.It
seems not so easy to see what about.

from slavic and get meaning as greek phallus?
From slavic the romanians have indeed "slava"= pride, glory, fame".
I doubt an "xv" or a "xf" would be tooken by romanians once with "p"
like in pula and once with "f" like in fala .
Grrrrr, that is a hard to identify thing..:(((
