Final *-e is dropped in Germanic, giving *uns(u)m and further *uns
(probably by analogy of the C-stem acc.sg. *-m. > *-um > *-u and *-0
after heavy syllable).

*n.smé is of course securely reconstructed already on the basis of
Skt. asmá:n (*nsme-om) or Grk. ámme < *n.smé.
