Punjabi Ghuda seems to be a rendering of Pers. Khuda:, older Khuda:y, Khuda:vand. This is Old Iranian Khwa-ta:vant-, Nom. Khwa-ta:va:, '(the one, who) is willing by himself'. This word equally means 'king' in many Iranian languages.

While on the Subject, can someone explain 'Ghuda' as a Word for God in Punjabi?

The agnostic dislectic amnesiac once invented an irrefutable argument proving that a dog existed -- or perhaps proving that there was no dog -- or ... err... he can't remember.

Oops!  That should be "agnostic dyslexic insomniac".
God knows the letters and words get jumbled when
I'm up this late unable to sleep... or does He?
