Message for Steve: I just read Albrectsen's vol. I on pre-Roman
(formerly called Celtic) Iron Age finds in Denmark and environs. He
divides it like this:
I : 500 - 300 BCE
II : 300 - 150 BCE
III : 150 - 0 BCE
With respect to funeral sites, there is a discontinuity. No grave
fields have been used continously between periods I and II. What that
means he (and I) don't know. But it's close to your 250 BCE.
