Torsen, are you familiar with the work of Tore
Gannholm? He is a Swedish (Gotland) scholar who
published a little item in 1996 entitled "The Origin
of Svear". In it he basically argues that it is the
Heruli who brought the Aesir religion to the North in
the 6th century. Some "competition" here? (:=)) Maybe
he should be invited to participate in the discussion.
