Re: [tied] ANNA, ELISABETH and variants

I had some problems in my computer, and since yesterday I was off.
I understand the point of view of Chris, and I thank Piotr and Mark for
defending mine. I know that these names I asked was biblical and not IE, but
I began with those (Ann,Mary,Elizabeth) because were more usual names, and
my intention is to query later about many other ones (including IE). I
really think that there's some phonetical and historical interest. To study
evolution of personal names is useful to understand the historical changes
in the world.
I accept Piotr's sugestion: those who want to answer my queries about names
please contact me in PVT.

Just out of courtesy (Joao is compiling a lexicon of names and he
understandably wanted to take advantage of the fact that we have such a
linguistically mixed company on the list). But I agree it's essentially OT,
so if anyone else wants to help Joao, it would be preferable to do so
off-list as of now.

Piotr
