****GK: I looked up "bzik" in a Polish-Ukrainian
dictionary I have. It is explained there as "psykh",
in the sense of someone who's slightly off his or her
rocker. It doesn't seem to imply the intensity of
"berserk" usually, but it could in a stretch. "Bzik"
as "psycho"? I wonder if "bzik" is simply a Polish
popular rendition of "psych" in that sense? ******
