Yes. Someone, I forget who, said that there was a lack of words referring to
pigs, in the context of answering a question about IIr versions of a list of
animal words including several European cognates, which implied (maybe
unintentionally?) that "su-" doesn't appear in that family. That is what
induced me to provide the quotation on which the above was part of my
comment. I am sure that some people in this yahoogroup have neither Pokorny
nor knowledge of Sanskrit, so it is for their benefit that I wrote.
